Recently, the Teulon Healthcare Foundation donated $19,000 to the Interlake Eastern Health Foundation to purchase a laundry table, vital signs monitor, bed alarms, Wanderguards, and a portable otoscope for the hospital and mattresses and pumps, a blanket warmer, and an oxygen concentrator for the personal care home.
Teulon Healthcare Foundation is an enduring charitable organization created to support health care in Teulon and surrounding areas.
Interlake Eastern Health Foundation executive director, Pamela McCallum, says the additional equipment will impact patients and residents and staff in a positive way.
“We are so lucky to have the Teulon Healthcare Foundation as a friend of the foundation. We are forever grateful to them for their ongoing support that helps us enhance patient care and makes life for our staff much easier,” says McCallum.
David Oakley, vice-chair of the Teulon Healthcare Foundation says they are passionate about healthcare in their community.
“The Teulon Healthcare Foundation is passionate about healthcare in our community and we strive to provide the tools necessary to help our healthcare workers deliver better patient care and to keep our facilities modern and up-to date! We take great pleasure in working the IEHF to accomplish these objectives,” says Oakley.
